In Cape Girardeau for the night

50 degrees with rain here in Cape Girardeau, MO at 9:00 pm Thursday.  Woke up to rain in Branson and drove in rain most of the 300+ miles to here.  Left Branson about 8 am.  Went to Dolly Parton's Stampede and enjoyed the 30-minute pre-show with the White River Wranglers (the Baldridge boys)

Drove through Mansfield, MO and stopped for brief time at the Laura Engalls Wilder home and museum.

Had supper tonight with brother Don and his wife
Vicki in Cape Girardeau and got to visit a bit.
Wednesday we stopped in Gravette, AR and had lunch
with Phyllis' cousin Don Runyan and his wife Bessie.
