Tuesday

O Canada! Our home and native land... True patriot love --- in all they sons command.  With glowing hearts we see thee rise, The True North strong and free!    From far and wide, O--Canada, We stand on guard for thee.  God keep our land glorious and free!.........O Canada, we stand on guard for thee.  O Canada, we stand on guard for thee!
I have to have these words, and the notes and rhythm to go with them memorized by this afternoon.  Our last concert, tomorrow night, is in an RV Park that is reportedly 75% Canadians, so we are going to substitute our normal God Bless the USA with O Canada.  Think the chorus has sung it other years, but not in the last 2 years I have been with them.  Just downloaded an MP3 version and singing with it.

A friend sent this photo of our opening song at the Methodist
Church in McAllen on March 3rd.

Monday Phyllis put on the last, of the season, bingo and monthly lunch at Gatti's Pizza in Harlingen.  Think she had 60-some people there.

Look for the birds.......

Wednesday was the last Pot-Luck dinner for the season

Just thought would show you what pureed vegetables look like

Sounds like it is raining in southwest Iowa.  Talked with oldest brother Roger in Lincoln, NE this morning (this is his 82nd birthday) and he said finally some warm - melting weather.  Has been a long January-February with all the cold and snow.  And we complain, a little, when the temperature here falls into the 50's for a few hours.  Last few days has been anywhere from 97 degrees to 86 degrees for daily highs.  No snow drifts.

Later, Lynn
