Hot spell in the Valley

77º here in La Feria, TX at 8:12 am Tuesday.  To be highs in the lower 90's next three days until cold front comes through in night Thursday.

Some sunset pictures I took last
evening as we drove from Valley Baptist
Hospital in Harlingen back home.

Note the humidity - top number

I visited on phone with my brother Roger, in Lincoln, NE,
this weekend and found that his grandson Steven had been
deployed to Afghanistan last week with his platoon.

Christmas stuff out already!

Did a quick trip to Nuevo Progreso in Mexico last Saturday.  Saw some preparations for the possible arrival of the "caravan" from central America.

This picture is for Cam.  The tall building in the center is
a new bank building built this summer.  I haven't figured out
what the slanted part on the front over what looks like
a booth for sports announcers at a stadium is.

This picture shows the top part better.  The white lines thru it are wires
and the bottom white is divider concrete on Interstate 2

Phyllis "shearing her sheep"

Another few shots at this and will have it done!

Here are some photos that Phyllis had taken with her cell phone on Halloween when we were at the Fire Station:

Hope you can read this when you enlarge it.

This looks good to me.

The outside unit of our air conditioner conked out, so we are waiting a new one - to be installed in a couple weeks.

All for now, Lynn
