31 degrees this morning

It is 39 degrees here at 11:00 am Saturday as I start this.  Still 14 mph winds out of the north, but bright sunshine.
My spinach last night - did not cover this.

Ate at the Longhorn Restaurant with Bill and Darlene Winslow yesterday afternoon.  Shaved prime rib
sandwich and cheese soup with broccoli.  Delicious.
Usual things going on - stretching exercises at 8 am - Thursday took materials from shed to Red Hall for ladies to make quilts - Thursday evening Bean-Bag Baseball - usually Meet & Greet at 4:00 pm on Thursday, but this week we went to Jack's Memorial Service instead.  Friday morning we had choir practice.  Guess there is a program this evening - Entertainer from Branson, MO.  We are scheduled for a tour of one of the local TV stations next week.

Color Guard at Jack Norden's Memorial Service   Click that link and you will see the Navy Color Guard at the close of the Memorial Service for Jack Norden who passed away last week.
He and his wife Karen lived in this park for many years until they bought a house a couple miles from here 2 years ago.  Her dad and his brother still spend winters here in Kenwood RV Park.  This is photo of a photo on display at the Memorial Service at the Methodist Church here in La Feria this Thursday.  Jack put on the Friday Jam Session here for years.

Maybe later, Lynn
