Knee scope done

75 degrees at Clarinda, IA  Bright sunshine.  And, I am in the basement out of that sunshine.  Did go out and ride trike .6 miles earlier,  first time since got back from having knee scoped and is quite a trick getting it completely bent enough.

Seemed like they put a lot of padding under the knee wrap, but nurse on phone yesterday said it was to absorb any seepage until we take off the wrap, which is supposed to be this Friday.  Doc told Phyllis he had cleaned out considerable scar tissue, etc., so should get some relief from this.
We had left home about 5 am and
at 144th and West Center in Omaha
by a little after  7 am for my 7:30
appointment.  Was in surgery room
by around 9:30 am and was out and awake
by 11 am and we were back home, the
92 miles, by a little after 3 pm.  Doc said to use the leg as I felt comfortable, to move it about.  Supposedly there is only two small incisions where they put in the scope and the digger/scraper/sucker, but I haven't seen them yet.  I didn't take any pain pills, just toughed it out.

I did ride the lawn mower yesterday.

There are millions of maple seeds
covering the entire yard.

Should let them grow, would
make a nice forest.

I walked the yard this afternoon,
looking for the little yellow dandelions,
and took this picture of the flower
bed Phyllis has on the west side of our
place.  Neighbor's yard is in the background.

We are going to drive to Villisca in a bit and go to the fish fry with Oliver and Mary Jo and probably play some cards with them at their place.
I have been planning our week-long trip next week with the travel trailer to eastern Iowa and Maquoketa Cave Park , ending up at the baby shower for our great-granddaughter in Marengo on the weekend.   Planning on stopping in Boone, IA to see friends and also at State Center, IA to visit a friend.

Later, Lynn
