Fall Temps in SW Iowa

60 degrees at 10:30 am Saturday October 3, 2015.  Was 42 degrees at 7:30 am.

Thursday evening we picked up our "country neighbors" (when we lived west of Clarinda on Highway 2) Jim and Evelyn Whipple and Marcene VonDiligan and went to Red Oak to eat at the Pizza Ranch.  Afterward we ate a lemon pie that Phyllis had made (The last of the lemons we picked at Don Ferguson's place in our RV Park in Texas).

Yesterday Carolyn & Al Ruhde came by, on their way to Ames for Iowa State football game today, and we ate lunch at Runza here in town.  Got caught up on visiting since we have only been here couple weeks and leave again in couple weeks.

To you followers of my blog -- I used to have all the photos we take available on my Picasa web site.  They changed their setup a little and I wasn't able to see how to make them available to the public.  After a little nudge from Rosie Busch about needing to see the pictures I studied it and found it simple, though different than it had been, and got them turned on.  Keep in mind that I still am going through and editing them and putting labels on.  Here are the sites:

A page of Links to my Picasa websites with Miles 2015 summer trip photos.

These are from our summer trip.  If you want to look around, and/or download any, feel free to do so.

Going to go outside and kill some Poison Ivy in the back yard now.

Later, Lynn
