Have had several motorhomes and trailers come in this week, people I don't recognize. Larry Ferguson and his wife are back in one of the rentals, and the rental by the front gate is now occupied.
After a lot of cleanup and repairs to Carol's trailer, it is finally ready for Nancy (Betty Schneider's daughter) and her husband to be in it in January and February. Nancy has been staying with Betty while her husband has been with his mother in Mississippi or Alabama. The trailer had been left in such a situation by last year's minister--the black tank had never been dumped, the interior had never been cleaned while he was occupying it and Carol had not even looked in the trailer since he left last April. The black tank had to be removed and replaced by an RV Service outfit, even though Ed and Dave, and others, worked on it for a week trying to get it flushed back in December. Nancy said the sheets had not been washed and when asked Carol about it, she said "Well, you can wash them if you want to". Nancy bought new ones. She also had to deep clean the whole inside of the trailer three times to get rid of the grime. A window had been left open all the time.
Have had many days of high winds, but today very little wind and sunshine, though high was only 62º for the day.
Haven't written much lately, as the only activity in the park is the "Sew and Share" Phyllis heads up (She had only 3 there this Thursday) and I have seen a few of the Radio Controlled Car guys around the track a few days. Was forecast for us to get about .8" of an inch of rain this week, but we ended up with .1". Has been in the 30's and 40's most mornings, but is to be warmer next few days.
